These are placeholder terms for Hopic, a service that helps customers find and book independent drivers directly.
What this service is
Hopic connects customers with independent drivers. It is not itself a transportation provider.
Driver accounts
A driver is responsible for the accuracy of their profile, and for everything that happens under their account and handle.
Booking requests
A booking request forms an agreement directly between the customer and the driver. Hopic is not a party to it.
Pricing and payment
Each driver sets their own prices, and payment is arranged directly between the customer and the driver.
Acceptable use
Contact details shared through this service must not be used for fraud, harassment, or anything unlawful.
Availability
The service is provided as-is at this stage, and may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn without notice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Hopic is not liable for a driver's conduct, or for a trip or delivery it merely helped arrange.
Suspension and termination
An account that breaks these terms may be suspended or closed.
Governing law
This draft does not yet name a governing law or jurisdiction. The reviewed terms must state both, for a service operating in Iraq.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change before this service launches for real customers, and again after.
